Just days after announcing the Aqua Star L smartphone, Intex has added another smartphone in form of the Intex Aqua Star II. The device is powered by a quad-core spreadtrum processor which allows it to be very lowly priced – for the equivalent of $96.
The Intex Aqua Star II features a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display, with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and has a quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor which clocks at 1.2GHz. There is a microSD card slot on board also to expand storage.
The camera combination on the device includes a 8MP main camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options on the device includes – Bluetooth, 802.w1 b/g/n Wi-Fi, FM Radio, micro USB 2.0 and 3G. It comes with Dual SIM slots and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS.
The Aqua Star II is backed by a 2000mAh battery and would go on sale in a few days in Black, Blue, White and Gray colour options. The device will be competing with fellow midrange (lower) devices such as the Moto E and Asus Zenfone C in India.
