Intex has added a new smartphone to its Aqua series of devices and the device boots Android 5.0 Lollipop Out of the box. The device is the Intex Aqua Star L and is claimed to be the first smartphone from an Indian Brand to run Lollipop OS from the on set.
The Intex Aqua Star L belongs to the midrange series (lower midrange); it packs a 5-inch IPS Laminated display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. Under the hood is a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB additional space).
It supports 3G as well as GPS, Bluetooth with A2DP and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity options. Like any handset launched in India; it has Dual SIM support with Dual Standby and FM Radio. For photography purposes it has a 8MP main camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies. Finally it is backed by a 2000mAh battery.

The Intex Aqua Star L would be available exclusively from Snapdeal in India for Rs 6990 ($113) starting February 16th. Black and White Colours are the available options.
