Intex has officially announced the Intex Aqua Super in India; the midrange device has a mix of low-end and high-end specs but has a very justifying price tag equivalent to around $157 (Rs 10,390). It will be available in Black, Champagne, Grey and White colour options.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box, the Intex Aqua Super sports a 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6735P 64-bit processor clocked at 1.0GHz with Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage space.
For photography, there is a front facing 2-Megapixels camera for selfies and a rear facing 8-Megapixels camera with LED flash as the main one; for additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. Connectivity options on the device includes – WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, microUSB v2.0 and 4G LTE/3G HSPA+.
The Intex Aqua Super measures 144 x 75.2 x 7.65mm in dimensions, weighs 130 grams in size and is backed by a 2150mAh battery. It comes pre-loaded with some apps and Intex is offering one-year screen breakage warranty and a complementary bag pack to go along with the phone.
