Intex had announced the Intex Aqua Trend, it is the company’s second smartphone to support 4G LTE. Priced at Rs 9444, the device is available in Black, Champagne, Gray and Silver colour options with a free smart flip cover bundled along.
The Dual-SIM enabled Intex Aqua Trend features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage plus a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
On the rear, there is a 13MP camera with LED flash and the front camera is a 5MP snapper for selfies. The Aqua Trend supports standard connectivity suite – Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G LTE/3G HSPA+. With LTE connectivity onboard it supports LTE Bands in India and make use of MediaTek’s HotKnot feature.
The Intex Aqua Trend measures 144.5 × 72.5 × 8.9mm in dimensions, weighs 152 grams, has a metal body build and is backed by a 3000mAh battery which is expected to last 2 days of usage or more.
Intex has signed up TollyWood actor, Tahesh Babu as a brand ambassador for a year. He will be actively involved in the company’s promotion and commercial activities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states in India.
