Intex Aqua Turbo 4G debuts with Android 5.1 and 3000mAh battery

Intex has added the Intex Aqua Turbo 4G to the Aqua series of devices; the 5-incher doesn’t offer anything outstanding, however, it runs Android Lollipop OS and supports 4G LTE connectivity. The device is priced at Rs 7,444 ($113) and is available in Black, Champagne, Grey and White colours.

Moving to the specs, the Intex Aqua Turbo 4G sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a 64-bit quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1GHz paired with Mali T720 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.

On the back, there is a 5MP camera with LED flash and a front 5MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options on the devices – GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G LTE/3G HSPA+. There is also HotKnot connectivity option onboard for file transfers and more.

The Intex Aqua Turbo 4G measures 144.5 x 72.5 x 8.9 mm in dimensions, weighs 150 grams, sports Dual SIM slot, has built-in FM Radio and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box. The device is backed by a 3000mAh battery which is expected to last up to 2 days of mixed usage. 

Like previous Intex phones, the Aqua Turbo 4G comes pre-loaded with apps such as Skype, Opera mini, News Hunt, Myntra and Clean Master. Smart Gesture features are also available.
