Intex has listed a new low-midrange smartphone in the Aqua series on its official website; the device is the Intex Aqua Y2 1GB. As it’s name suggest it uses 1GB of RAM, a 4-inch display and is powered by a Spreadtrum SoC.
Talking about the full specs – the Intex Aqua Y2 1GB sports a 4-inch (800 X 480 pixels) WVGA IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC7731 processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB). On the rear is a 8MP main camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera.
Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-fi and 3G HSPA+. Like other Intex devices – it comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, supports Dual SIM functionality and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. It measures 124 x 64.5 X 9.0mm, weighs 101 grams and is backed by a 1400mAh battery.
The Intex Aqua Y2 1GB is available in Black and Grey colour options for Rs 5190 ($83).
