Intex today has announced, a new affordable smartphone in the Aqua series running on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS and targeted at the milliennials. Called the Intex Aqua Y2 Pro, the device supports Dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality alongside 3G connectivity.
The Intex Aqua Y2 Pro Packs a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) display, powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor, 512MB of RAM, 5MP primary camera with LED flash, a 0.3MP front-facing camera and a 4GB of built-in storage (up to 32GB via microSD card support).

Connectivity options on the device includes – 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and FM Radio. The Intex Aqua Y2 Pro as earlier mentioned runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is powered by a 1600mAh battery. The smartphone is available for Rs 4333 ($70; N12,000 in Naira) in Black and Navy Blue.

Intex, last month announced three new devices – the Intex Aqua Star, Aqua Star HD and Aqua Star Power smartphones. The three devices involved are powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core processors with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, dual-SIM support and run on Android 4.4.2 out-of-the-box.
