Intex has announced a new entry-level 4G smartphone in India – the Intex Cloud 4G Smart. The 5-inch device from the company’s expanded Cloud series is available exclusively via Flipkart for a price tag of Rs 4999 in Black and White colour options.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, the Intex Cloud 4G Smart is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830 processor with Mali-400 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB built-in storage. It sports a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA TFT display and has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
In the camera segment, the device makes use of a front facing 2MP camera for selfies & video chats; and a rear facing 5MP camera with f/2.4 aperture, LED flash and Omnivision OV5670 sensor. Connectivity options onboard includes – 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
The Intex Cloud 4G Smart has Dual Hybrid SIM slots, measures 144.4 x 73.2 x 9.75mm in dimensions, weighs 156 grams in size and is backed by a 2000mAh Li-ion battery which is expected to last about 4 – 6 hours of talk time & up to 150 hours of standby time.
It supports the 21 regional Indian languages and preloaded with various apps such Intex Service, Follo, Opera Mini, Clean Master, Newshunt, Myntra, and Chaatz.
