Intex Cloud FX running Firefox OS launched for $33

Intex has announced its first Firefox OS smartphone, the Intex Cloud FX. For those who are not familiar with the Firefox OS, the platform is built on Open Web Standards with every feature developed as an HTML5 application.

The Intex Cloud FX features a 3.5-inch HVGA (320 x 480 pixels) display, powered by a 1GHz processor (unknown chipset) alongside 128MB of RAM. There is a 46MB of built-in-storage which is expandable up to 4GB via microSD card. There is no front camera but there is a 2MP rear camera.

Connectivity options on the device – GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack. The device features Dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) functionality but no 3G connectivity support.

The Intex Cloud FX weighs 104grams, measures 115.9 x 62 x 11.8mm and runs on Firefox OS. The device is powered by a 1250mAh battery; which is touted to provide up to 4hours of talktime and 200hours on standby time.
