Intex has released a new variant of the entry-level Cloud M6 smartphone; the Intex Cloud M6 16GB as the device is known is priced at Rs 5999 ($93). It is available in Champagne and White colour options, exclusively in India from Snapdeal.
The Intex Cloud M6 16GB features a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA IPS display, powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage space. For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
On the rear, there is a 8 Megapixels camera with LED flash and a front facing 5 Megapixels camera for selfies as well as video chats. Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 3G HSPA+.
It has Dual SIM support and measures 142 x 71.5 x 8.95mm in dimensions, runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS out-of-the box and is backed by a reasonable 2000mAh battery.
The difference between the Original Intex Cloud M6 (May 2015) and the just released Intex Cloud M6 16GB comes in the aspect of RAM and ROM; the latter comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM compared to 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM. The device still disappointedly runs Android Kitkat OS.
