Intex has announced a new budget and pocket friendly smartphone in the Aqua series; the device in question is the Intex Aqua T2 and runs on Android 4.4 kitkat OS but with no 3G connectivity support. Celkon in June launched a similar budget friendly smartphone, the Campus A35K smartphone running on Android Kitkat and supports 3G connectivity.
The Intex Aqua T2 features a 3.5-inch (320 x 480 pixels) display, powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6571 processor, supports Dual-SIM connectivity, 256MB of RAM, 512MB of internal storage and a microSD card slot for expansion (Up to 32GB). Other features includes – 2G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 1300mAh.

Pricing and Availability
The Intex Aqua T2 is said to be available in Black and Grey colour options for a retail price of Rs 2699 ($44) exclusively from Flipkart e-commerce store. The company announced the Intex Aqua 4X with 4-inch display, Dual-core SoC, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and a reail price of Rs 2999 ($49).
