With various new devices headed for Jumia Nigeria including the upcoming Huawei G Power, Konga has come up with an exclusive device of its own – the Mi-Tribe A500 for the Nigerian market. The 5-inch sized device is pre-loaded with the Konga-shopping app for a price tag of N23,500 and users also get up to N2000 off their first ride on Uber with the code Miafrica.
The Mi-Tribe A500 has a light and sandstone textured body for easy grip, relies on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz (Mediatek SoC) and boots Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with good screen-to-body ratio along with 2GB of RAM for handling tasks and 16GB Built-in storage space.
For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. On the rear, there is a rear facing 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and a front facing 2-megapixel camera for video chats and selfies.
Connectivity options available includes 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth, micro USB and Wi-Fi Hotspot. The Mi-Tribe A500 has Dual SIM slots (Mini + Micro), FM Radio and is backed by a 2300mAh battery with quick charging.
