Ion Belt is a Clothing Belt with 3000mAh battery that charges your mobile devices

Makers of the XOO smartphone-charging Belt, Nifty has teamed up with US based team led by the President/CEO of Scrub Daddy, Aaron Krause for the Ion Belt. It is currently listed on Kickstarter with the hope of raising $50,000.

If the funding goal is achieved, shipping starts by June 2016 and the belt itself costs $89 for backers and could potentially end up costing $139 as the final retail price.

The Ion Belt has a hand-finished black leather strap and houses a 3000mAh Lithium battery which should provides up to 1 or 1.5 times charging depending on the device. There is a LED indicator on the belt which show how much charge is left on it. 

A USB plug is built into the buckle for the purpose of  charging the belt and plugging a USB cable to the other end of the belt charges the phone. The belt takes up to 1.5 hours to charge full and charges any normal USB device – smartphones, tablets and cameras.

The Ion Belt is available in three sizes – small, medium and large; weighs 386 grams in size and the company is assuring maximum safety regarding usage and passes through airport security with minimal fuss.
