According to a new report from mobile application performance management solution Crittercism, Android 5.0 Lollipop OS app crash rate stands at 2.0%, while that of Apple iOS 8 stands at 2.2%. The report also states that the iOS 8 is less stable than the iOS 7 which has an app crash rate of 1.9%. Previous iteration of Android OS has more crash rate than the Lollipop; both Kitkat and Ice Cream sandwich both have the same crash rate at 26%.
