iQOO U1x Debuts with 13MP Triple Cameras, 5000mAh Battery

Vivo iQOO sub-brand has started receiving pre-orders for a follow-up to the U1 smartphone, the iQOO U1x. This model is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 octa-core mobile platform compared to the faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G mobile platform on the U1. They both comes pre-loaded with iQOO UI 1.0 (based on Android 10) and feature a side-placed fingerprint sensor, Bluetooth 5.1, micro USB port and 18W fast charging support.

The iQOO U1x has a reasonable 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display with 20:9 aspect ratio and an 8MP (f/1.8) selfie camera in the dewdrop notch and depends on a 5,000mAh battery with 18W dual-engine fast charging via micro USB port. Photography is handled by a triple camera setup headed by a 13MP (f/2.2) snapper. The other camera sensors are a 2MP (f/2.4) depth and 2MP (f/2.4, 4cm focal length) macro.

The rest of the specs includes side-placed fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.1 and Face unlock. It is available in three memory and storage configurations – 4GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB (UFS 2.1) storage (CNY 899/US$ 135); 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB (UFS 2.1) storage (CNY 999/US$ 150) and 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage (CNY 1,199/US$ 180). Morning Frost and Secret Black are the available colour choices.
