iTel Mobile, one of the local brands selling in Nigeria and some other African countries, has announced the selfie-centric iTel S31. Following the footsteps of the iTel S11, the new low-level entrant to the company’s S series has the mandate of delivering quality images in good and low light conditions.
The iTel S31 retains a number of key features from the S11 and comes with a bigger display. It sports a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, 1.3GHz Quad-core Cortex A7 (Mediatek MT6580W) processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
In the camera segment, the device packs a front facing 5MP camera with soft LED flash and 5-level face beauty mode for editing and fine-tuning selfies alongside a rear facing 5MP AutoFocus camera with dual-LED flash. Connectivity options on-board includes – 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Hotspot.
Available in Black, Champagne Gold & Rose Gold colours, the iTel S31 is priced starting at N28,000 and comes packed with free earphones and a pouch. It is expected to go on sale on January 13th (tomorrow) at 3C Hub and Slot outlets. All other smartphone outlets should commence sales by January 25th.
