Chinese brand, ivvi has launched a new Android Marshmallow based smartphone in the ivvi series – the ivvi i3 Play in China. The 4G-enabled device which carries on various specs of the ivvi i3, will go on sale via China Telecom for CNY 2,299 (US$ 341).
Packed in a 7mm thin full metal body design, the ivvi i3 Play sports a 5.5-inch LCD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution, Dual SIM slots (Micro + Nano) and backed by a long lasting 300mAh battery.
The device is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (MSM8937) octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz paired along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space. In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 16MP camera with PDAF and a front facing 8MP camera for selfies.
As mention earlier, the ivvi i3 Play runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and supports 4G LTE (UE Cat. 4 connectivity). It also has a rear placed fingerprint sensor with swift unlock time.
In comparison, the ivvi i3 launched with a smaller 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, 2500mAh Lithium-ion battery and a rear facing 13MP PDAF camera. The rest of the specs remain virtually the same.
