In recent times, there has been changes in the ownership structure of Chinese brand – iVVi. The former major sub-brand of CoolPad, has a new phone – the iVVi V1 which was recently certified by TENAA for release in China.
Housed in a full metal body with invisible antenna lines, the iVVi V1 sports a 5.5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels HD screen resolution. On the inside, the device relies on an quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz which is paired with three RAM models – 1GB, 2GB and 3GB. Similarly, the device will arrive in three storage options – 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.
The device has a microSD card slot (for additional storage up to 32GB), supports 4G LTE networks, measures 8.3mm thick and backed by a 2500mAh Li-ion battery. Photography is handled by a rear facing 8MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies and video chats.
The brand is also expected to release the iVVi F1 soon. The device packs a 5-inch 720p HD display, 1.1GHz quad-core processor, 1GB/2GB of RAM, 8GB/16GB built-in storage, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 2MP front camera, a microSD card slot, and 4G LTE support. It also boots Yun OS 5.1.1 and depends on a 2000mAh battery.
