Even though the defunct ‘Nokia Lumia’ and the recent ‘Lumia’ or ‘Microsoft Lumia’ are associated with Microsoft; the company still has several partners (30 to be precise) which make Windows Phone handset and one of them happens to be K-Touch. The company has announced two Windows Phone 8.1 OS based smartphones – the K-Touch 5705A and K-Touch 5703A.
The K-Touch 5705A is a midrange smartphone with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS capacitive display with a pixel density of 294ppi. Under the hood is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor which clocks at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage.
On the rear is a 8MP camera and there is a front facing 2MP camera. The K-Touch 5705 A supports Dual SIM (MicroSIM + MiniSIM) with Dual Standby, runs on Windows Phone 8.1 OS and uses a 1950mAh battery which promises up to 10 hours of talktime.
The K-Touch 5703A on the other hand features a 4.5-inch 480 x 854 pixels Clearback IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 221ppi. It is also powered by the Qualcomm snapdragon 200 (1.2GHz quad-core) with 512MB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage which is expandable via microSD card slot. There is 5MP Autofocus camera on-board which is capable of taking 720p HD videos.
