India-based device maker, Karbonn has added a new 4G VoLTE enabled smartphone – the Karbonn Aura 4G running the dated Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. It is on sale for Rs. 5,290 (US$ 83) and comes along with a free protective cover. Blue Champagne and Coffee Champagne are the available colours.
Measuring 141 x 72.9 x 8 mm and weighing in at 138 grams; the Karbonn Aura 4G sports a 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution, 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek processor and relies on a 2150mAh battery to keep the lights on. The budget Dual SIM device packs 1GB of RAM, 8GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
Photography is handled by a rear facing 8MP camera with LED flash along with a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and videos. Connectivity options on the 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
