Karbonn Mobiles has released a new smartphone with sizeable capacity battery, called the Karbonn Aura Power. The 5-inch 4G-enabled budget device is available across all online and offline channels for a price tag of Rs. 5990 (US$ 89). It will arrive in Ark-Blue Champagne and Champagne colours.
The Karbonn Aura Power supports Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and is the second device after the Karbonn Aura 9, to have this feature. One of the highlights is the 4000mAh battery (non removable) which is expected to provide up to 1200 hours of standby time or 17 hours of talk time.
The smartphone features a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA display, 1.0GHz quad-core processor, Dual SIM slots, 1GB of RAM, 8GB built-in storage space and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB or 64GB. It sports a rear facing 8MP AutoFocus camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP front camera for selfies.
Connectivity options on the device includes – 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and GPS. The Karbonn Aura Power measures 141 x 71.2 x 10mm in dimensions, weighs 175.5 grams and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS.
