Barely three days ago, the Meizu Pro 5 Mini started making round with some of the hardware specs to expect from the device. The not-so-mini version of the Meizu Pro 5 has been spotted on a retail listing in Europe along with the pricing info but I must tell you that it hasn’t been officially announced.
As expected the Meizu Pro 5 Mini is powered by the 10-core Mediatek Helio X20 processor, sports a 4.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display along with a metal body build, 3GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage. The company could launch a 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage version.
The device has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB, Dual SIM slots, a front facing 5-Megapixels camera for selfies and a rear facing 16-Megapixels camera. Connectivity options onboard includes – 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS but there is no mention of NFC.
The Meizu Pro 5 Mini should keep the fingerprint sensor, run Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Flyme UI ontop, backed by a 3050mAh battery and talks of a possible USB Type-C Port seems to quashed now for a micro USB one.
Even though the specs looks too good to be true for a mini, the device isn’t entirely too affordable as the 32GB storage version of the Pro 5 Mini costs €360 (about $392 in the US). Any confirmation of the above can only be done when there is an official announcement.
