Polish brand, Kruger & Matz has just announced a new 8-inch tablet into the market – the Kruger & Matz Eagle 801. The 3G-enabled tablet with Intel Atom processor slots into the affordable category with a price tag of Zł 499 (Polish zlotys) which is approximately around US$ 128.
Rocking a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) WXGA IPS display with 16:10 aspect ratio and a pixel density of 189ppi; the Kruger & Matz Eagle 801 gets its processing power from a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor clocked at 1.33GHz (burst speed up to 1.83GHz) with Intel HD Graphics and 1GB of RAM.
The tablet has 16GB built-in storage space, a microSD card slot, a SIM card slot, front facing VGA (0.3-megapixels) camera, rear facing 2-megapixels camera and two stereo speakers. Connectivity options available includes – Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, micro HDMI port, micro USB port and built-in 3G modem.
Measuring 213.5 x 123 x 8 mm in dimensions and weighing 360 grams in size; the Kruger & Matz Eagle 801 is backed by a 4000mAh battery and boots Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box but no word yet on possible upgrade to Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
