Polish based firm, Kruger & Matz has announced a new tablet taking all of its inspiration from the Surface tablet line known as the Kruger & Matz EDGE 1161. This is not the first Microsoft Surface tablet Clone in the market but the irony is most of them are running the company’s Windows OS, with the most recent ones running Windows 10.
Moving to the specs, the Kruger & Matz EDGE 1161 sports a 11.6-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (FHD), powered by a dual-core Intel Core M-5Y10c processor clocked at 0.8GHz (with peak speed up to 2GHz), Intel HD Graphics 5300 as GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB native storage space which is expandable by a microSD card.
Running Windows 10 OS, there is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity onboard and power is drawn from a sizeable 9500mAh battery which is expected to last hours depending on usage. The slate also has a host of ports which includes – USB 3.0 port, micro HDMI port, micro USB port, headphone jack and microSD card reader.
The Kruger & Matz EDGE 1161 is up for pre-order at a price tag around $513 (1949 zł) and it comes with a built-in kickstand as well as a type cover which comes in Blue or Black colour option.
