Kult has joined the list of smartphone companies in India; the company has announced the Kult 10 (pronounced – Kult Ten) 4G smartphone which will be available exclusively on Snapdeal in the country. It arrives with a price tag of Rs 7999 (USD 120) in Black or White colours to choose from.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS but upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Kult 10 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with Asahi Dragon trail Glass protection, measures 143 x 70.3 x 7.6mm in dimensions, weighs 128 grams and is backed by a removable 2350mAh battery.
Under the hood sit a 64-bit Quad-Core Mediatek processor with Mali-T720 MP2 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage space. The device has an Hybrid Dual SIM slot (micro SIM + Nano SIM/microSD) with the option of using the two sim slots at once or a SIM slot and the other as a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.
For photography, the Kult 10 has a front facing 5MP camera with 85-degrees wide angle lens for selfies and a rear facing 13MP PDAF camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and 1080p video recording support. Connectivity options onboard includes – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and 4G LTE.
For after sale services, Kult has teamed up with Telecare which has up to 500 service centres across India to provide these services to customers.
