Indian smartphone maker, Kult has announced the release of its new budget smartphone – the Kult Beyond. The device is available in India for Rs. 6,999 (US$ 110) and available exclusively online via Amazon India (Amazon.in) starting August 18th. Registrations are open to interested customers.
Pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat OS, the Kult Beyond sports a 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and depends on a sizeable 3,000mAh battery, the same capacity on the recent smartphones such as the Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus, ZTE V870, and Allview X4 Soul Lite.
Like Tecno’s Camon CX Air, the beyond is equipped with a rear facing 13MP autofocus camera with Dual LED flash alongside a front facing 13MP fixed focus camera, also with Dual LED flash. It sports Dual SIM slots, rear fingerprint sensor, micro USB port and supports 4G VoLTE connectivity.
On the inside, the Kult Beyond is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.25GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB RAM, and 32GB built-in storage space (expandable up to 32GB via microSD). It is billed to last up to 425 hours of standby time and up to 25 hours of talk time.
