Lava has added a new budget smartphone to its Iris range of smartphomes, dubbed the Lava Iris 400Q, the phone packs performance and power.
The Lava Iris 400Q features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) touch screen display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with VideoCore IV GPU, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of Internal storage, microSD card slot (up to 32GB), 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a front facing VGA camera.
The device supports Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) with Dual standby support as well as 3G connectivity. Connectivity options on the device includes GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Micro USB. The Lava Iris 400Q runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and is powered by a 1700mAh battery; the battery is touted to give about 153 hours of standby time and 9 hours of talktime.

The Lava Iris 400Q has not been officially announced but has been listed online with a price tag of Rs 5,499 ($91 / N15,000) in Grey colour option only.
