Lava Mobiles has added the Lava Iris X1 Atom S smartphone to its Iris X1 series of smartphones; the Iris X1 Atom S is a a reduced version of the Lava Iris X1 Atom which is also selling for a price tag below $100 but has a bigger battery and better processor. You should know that all devices in the Iris X1 Series have similar design.
The Lava Iris X1 Atom S is selling for a price equivalent to $65 (INR 4149) in Black and White colour options. Measuring 125.5mm X 63.4mm X 9.65mm in dimensions, the device sports a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) WVGA IPS touchscreen display and is powered by a processor clocked at 1GHz.
Handling tasks on the device is a meagre 512MB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage is available for files. There is a microSD card slot onboard for storage expansion (up to 32GB) and the device runs Android 4.4 Kitkat OS. Connectivity options on the device includes – 3G, Bluetooth, GPS and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi.
The Lava Iris X1 Atom S supports Dual SIM functionality and the smartphone is backed by a 1400mAh battery. Handling photography on the device is a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and there is also a front facing 0.3MP camera for selfies and video chats.
