The Lava Iris X1 Beats is the latest smartphone from the company’s Iris series and the it is said to be a music phone because it comes with a K-Class Amplifier which makes it a music oriented phone. When you heard the word beats, you might have thought the smartphone should have some affiliations with Dr Dre’s Beats Music, but the smartphone doesn’t have any.
Asides being a music phone; most of the specs doesn’t really impress – it sports a 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA touchscreen display, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage, a microSD card slot for storage expansion and runs on Android 4.4 kitkat OS.
For handling photography, the Iris X1 Beats has a 5MP main camera with LED flash and a front facing VGA camera. Connectivity options includes – 3G HSPA+, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 , Micro USB, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Sensor options incudes – accelerometer, ambient light, and proximity sensors.
The Lava Iris X1 Beats measures 144 x 71.8 x 9.0 mm and packs a decent 2200mAh battery which is expected to deliver up to 134 hours on standby using a single Single SIM or up to 11 hours of talk time on 3G network. It would be available for around Rs 6552 and would come in White Gold, White Silver and Ink Black colour options.
