Lava mobiles has added a new smartphone to the company’s ever growing list of Iris series devices – the Lava Iris X10. The 5-inch sized mid-range device has been spotted courtesy of HomeShop18 where it is listed as out-of-stock but is expected to sell for around INR 10990 (USD 164) in White colour only.
Moving to the specifications, the Lava Iris X10 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 3GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The device has a front facing 5-megapixels for selfies as well as video chats and a rear facing 13-megapixels camera with Dual LED flash as the main one. Connectivity options on the device includes – Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and micro USB v2.0.
There is support for 2G, 3G & 4G networks in India with compatibility with FDD-LTE 1800 MHz (Band 3) and TDD-LTE 2300 MHz (Band 40). The Lava Iris X10 runs Star OS (based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS), supports Dual SIM functionality and is backed by a 2900mAh battery that should last up to a day or more depending on usage.
