Lava Mobiles has listed up the Lava X50+ (pronounced – Lava X50 Plus) on its official website. The new 5.5-inch device takes over from the similar Lava X50 and improves on some of the features. It is priced at Rs. 9199 (US$ 135) and arrives in Blue and White Gold colour options.
Packed in a sleek metallic body with Non conductive coating technology (NCVM) technique and curved back, the Lava X50+ has a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and backed by a reasonable 2800mAh battery with Power Saver mode.
The smartphone supports 12 local Indian languages & features the ‘one hand operation mode, which shrinks the screen and allows user operate the device with one hand. The ‘Swipe to Capture’ feature allows for taking screenshots by swiping three fingers down the screen.
On the inside, the Lava X50+ relies on a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz alongside 2GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD). Photography is handled by a rear facing 8MP AF camera with LED flash, 1080p video recording and a front 5MP selfie camera with LED flash.
Connectivity options on the device includes – 4G with VoLTE support, Bluetooth V4.0, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and Wi-Fi.
