Lava Mobiles has a new smartphone selling in the Indian market in form of the Lava X81. The new entrant to the ‘X Series’ family is available exclusively from Flipkart for Rs 11,499 (USD 171). It will also be on sale from other retail stores and multi-brand outlets in the country.
With the pricing, the company is positioning the Lava X81 as a midrange device and the presence of Android Marshmallow OS with the company’s Star OS sprinkled on top. It sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with 2.5D curved glass and is backed by a 2700mAh battery.
On the inside, it is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Mediatek processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 3GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage which is expandable up to 64GB. In the imaging segment, there is a rear facing 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and Dual-LED flash.
The front snapper for selfies is a 5MP camera with a single front LED flash. Connectivity options on the Lava X81 includes – 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and GPS. Space Grey is the available colour option.
