Lava Mobiles has announced the launch of two new ‘Z Series’ smartphones – the Lava Z10 and Lava Z25. The duo come with support for Voice over LTE (VoLTE), 11 Indian languages and front facing 8MP camera with 1.4um pixel size, 5P Largan lens, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.
The Lava Z10 is the smaller of the duo with a 5-inch IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution and 2.5D curved glass. It measures 143.2 x 71 x 8.4 mm in dimensions, weigh 148 grams, boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Star OS 3.3 and backed by a 2650mAh battery.
The dual-SIM device packs a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage space (expandable up to 128GB via microSD). Photography will be handled by a rear 8MP camera with LED flash, 1.4um pixel size, and f/2.2 aperture while pricing starts at Rs. 11,500 (US$ 176).
The Lava Z25 has a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass, fingerprint sensor and 3020mAh battery. It relies on an octa-Core MediaTek MT6750 64-bit processor with 4GB RAM and 32GB built-in expandable storage. It boots the same OS as the Z10 and has a hybrid Dual SIM slot.
The main camera is a 13MP snapper with Sony IMX258 sensor, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and LED Flash. It measures 151.5 x 76.4 x 8.5 mm, weigh 163 grams in size and arrive in Champagne Gold and Grey colours. Pricing starts at Rs. 18,000 (US$ 275).
The Z10 and Z25 will be available at first in select retail stores in Delhi starting today and will eventually move to other cities in coming weeks. Both devices come with a ’30 Day Replacement Policy’ and one-time mobile screen replacement for a year.
