Chinese company, Leagoo has announced a new smartphone – the Leagoo Alfa 2. The 5-inch sized device currently only supports 3G networks and will arrive in Brilliant Pink, Champagne Gold, Dark Blue and Marble White colour options.
Measuring 143.6 x 72.6 x 7.5 mm in dimensions, the Leagoo Alfa 2 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with 2.5D curved glass and a pixel density of 294ppi. It has Dual SIM slots (with Dual Standby), supports 2G & 3G networks and boots Leagoo OS 1.1 out-of-the-box (based on Android 5.1 Lollipop).
The Alfa 2 is backed by a 2600mAh battery which promises up to 15 hours of call time and uses Leagoo’s LCQC1.5 flash charge tech for quicker and faster battery charging time. Under the hood sits a quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space.
There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB; in the camera segment, the Leagoo Alfa 2 has a front facing 5MP camera for selfies & video chats; and a rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash. Connectivity options available includes – Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-FI
Leagoo has also added a unique back touch panel which allows the user to perform some features like scrolling, tapping to wake and snapping photos attributed to one having a fingerprint sensor in place. For enhanced audio output, the Alfa 2 is equipped with Chipwill K7 amplifier IC.
