Leagoo has announced the Leagoo Elite 1 smartphone; the 5-inch sized device was launched at an event in Malaysia. There is no price yet for the premium looking flagship from the company but it would be available in Champagne Gold, Dazzling White and Midnight Black.
The Leagoo Elite 1 sports a 5-inch JDI-made LTPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) with a pixel density of 441ppi, 90% color saturation, 1000:1 contrast ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It has an Aluminium-Magnesium alloy and 12 CNC stainless steel frame with body back ‘mirror’ design.
For quality listening experience the device makes use of its bottom placed speakers to achieve Hi-Fi like music experience and 2 built-in microphones for cancelling (reducing) noise and the other for stabilising sound during calls. There is a Smart Shortcut Button on the side which can be configured to your preference.
Under the hood lies an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 64-bit processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali T720 MP3 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB space of internal storage. The Leagoo Elite 1 supports Dual SIM slots, 4G LTE networks, runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the company’s Leagoo OS 1.1 on top and is backed by a 2400mAh battery.
The device has a fingerprint ID function embedded into its home button made with a combo of stainless steel ring and sapphire glass and only takes 0.05 second to unlock the device.
The front camera is a 13MP Sony-made camera with LED flash, f/2.4 aperture and 77-degree wide angle lens; the main camera is a 16MP Sony IMX214 Exmor RS camera with a 1/3.06″ sensor, an f/2.0 aperture, 5-element lens, and Dual-color LED flash.
