Following the introduction of the KIICAA S8 series by Leagoo, the Chinese company has also announced the Leagoo KIICAA Power – a dual camera smartphone from the series with large capacity battery. The mid-ranger packs a 4,000mAh battery which should cater for more than a day of mixed usage and 5V/1.5A fast charging to speed up charge time.
The Leagoo KIICAA Power has two rear cameras: a primary 8MP sensor and a secondary 5MP camera for capturing depth of field. Both cameras have dual LED flash and are tagged as ‘Smart Bokeh Camera Expert’. While the resolution of the front camera is not stated, the fingerprint sensor (0.3s unlock time) sits on the rear just below the main camera.
The device has a metal body frame, 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) screen resolution, 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. It relies on a quad-core MediaTek MT6580A processor which could possibly point to the device being able to only support 2G and 3G networks.
The Leagoo KIICAA Power also runs Android Nougat OS and is expected to arrive sometime in July for only $69.99. Those who prioritise lasting battery life over everything would definitely buy this.
