I never pass up the opportunity to talk about any device or gadgets – smartphones, tablets, PCS and other related infos. And today I found an interesting device from China – the Leagoo Lead 7.
Like most China based manufacturing companies, Leagoo is offering a mid-range smartphone with more specs than its price tag. If your are on a budget and you want a specced out smartphone you should consider this.
The Leagoo Lead 7 does not stray into the phablet range, it uses a 5-inch JDI made (720 x 1280 pixels display) HD IPS display with a pixel density of 294ppi. JDI is a joint venture between Sony, Hitachi and Toshiba to make displays and Apple is said to be one of its customers.
Under the hood, you’ll find a Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHx with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB). The Leagoo Lead 7 uses a 13MP main camera made by Sony with 5P lens, f/2.2 aperture and has a front facing 8MP for the selfie lovers.
The device measures 144 x 71.6 x 8.9mm, weighs 160 grams and runs on you would have guess right – Android OS. It comes with a beefy 4500mAh battery which also comes with quick charging features; charges up to 80% in just an hour. It is also said to have 450 hours of ongoing use (it doesn’t state whether standby or talktime).
The Leagoo Lead 7 is available from Gearbest and other online stores for $129.99 in Black and White colour options. If the above turns out to be very true then this offering from Leagoo is a steal buy.
