Following the recent launch of the Venture 1, Chinese brand, Leagoo has announced a new smartphone – the Leagoo M5 Plus. The new phablet supports 4G+ networks and audiophiles will be encouraged with the fact that it comes with its own Bass Sound system and Awinic K7 chip for Hi-Fi quality sound
Powered by a 2500mAh Li-Polymer battery, the Leagoo M5 Plus sports a 5.5-inch S-IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD), 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It sports an all metal frame, measures 151.7 x 76.2 x 8.8 mm in dimensions, weighs 208 grams and arrives in Gold, Grey and White colours.
Under the hood, the device relies on a quad-core Mediatek MT6737processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats.
A multi-functional fingerprint scanner with 0.19s reaction time sits below the main camera; it not only unlocks the device, it can also be used for picture capture, Home scroll, fingerprint dial, video and music control. The Leagoo M5 Plus runs Freeme OS 6.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
