Chinese company, Leagoo has launched a new smartphone called the Leagoo Venture 1 (or Leagoo V1). The less popular brand has opted to take inspiration from (or ripped off) the Vertu’s signature design and build for its premium and luxury smartphones.
Equipped with various built-in security features (bank-level security chip, Dual Secure OS, etc) and backed by a 3000mAh Li-Polymer battery, the Leagoo Venture 1 sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels screen resolution, pixel density of 294ppi and ultra-fast fingerprint sensor.
On the inside, it is powered by an octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB built-in expandable storage space. It is packed in a Nano waterproof, shockproof and corning Gorilla glass protected body with prismatic metal body and calf leather covering.
The camera setup is pretty basic, a front facing 8MP camera for selfies and a rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash. The LEAGOO Venture 1 measures 148.5 x 71.8 x 11.1 mm in dimensions, supports 4G LTE connectivity and Dual Micro SIM slots.
Available in Amber Brown, Black and Royal Red colours, the Venture 1 also allows users login multiple accounts on the same app using the Dual tag feature. This applies to user installed apps and Google apps; and notifications are also served differently.
