Last month, a smartphone with the model name – Gionee GN9007 surfaced on both TENAA and Geekbench benchmark websites with most of its specs and key features noted. The device which was earlier tipped to be the Gionee Elife S7 Mini is now expected to go official as the Gionee Elife S5.1 Pro.
Going by the Gionee Elife S5.1 Pro (6.45mm thin) suggests the device is an upgrade to the super slim Gionee Elife S5.1 but both device have different design.
The Gionee Elife S5.1 Pro features a 5-inch (1280 x 720) Pixels HD display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage and is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with PowerVR G6200 GPU. The Elife S5.1 does not have a microSD card slot but this model has one.
It measures 145.1 X 70 X 6.45mm in dimensions, has a front facing 8MP camera for selfies and a rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash. The device supports 4G LTE/3G HSPA+, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB and Bluetooth options.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with Amigo UI 3.1 ontop, the Gionee Elife S5.1 Pro has Dual SIM functionality with Dual Standby, a noise reduction microphone, speakers and is backed by a 2400mAh battery. It is expected to launch for a price tag around $300 and will be available in different colours including Black and White.
