LeEco has unveiled its latest smartphone with a dual rear camera setup – the LeEco Le Pro 3 AI Edition. The phablet device was initially speculated to be the Le Max 3, comes pre-installed with ‘Al Voice Assistant’ and is available in two variants – ‘Standard’ and a higher-end ‘Eco’ version.
Pre-installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow based EMUI 5.9, the Le Pro 3 AI Edition succeds the original Le Pro 3 and features ‘Le Le’ – LeEco’s in-house virtual assistant. Partially similar to Samsung’s Bixby, LeLe is fully integrated into the LeEco Apps as well as other 3rd-party apps and over time and usgae, gets smarter. It can also be activated while device screen is off.
The standard version packs 4GB RAM, 32GB built-in storage and a Deca-Core 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio X23 processor while the Eco variant also packs 4GB RAM, however, It has a bigger storage space – 64GB and a more powerful processor – a Deca-Core 2.6GHz MediaTek Helio X27 SoC.
Measuring 152.4 x 75.1 x 7.5 mm and weighing in at 168 grams; both models feature – a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD display with a pixel density of 403ppi, rear fingerprint sensor, Dual Nano SIM slot, IR sensor, 4G VoLTE and Dual Band Wi-Fi 802.11ac support, NFC and 4000mAh battery.
The LeEco Le Pro 3 AI Standard Edition is priced at CNY 1799 Yuan (US$ 260) while the LeEco Le Pro 3 AI Eco Edition will sell for CNY 2,399 (US$ 347). Sales commences on April 14, 2017.
