LeEco’s upcoming smartphone – the LeEco LEX850, was recently certified for the Chinese market by Chinese Telecommunication Authority – TENAA. The high-end phablet could be an upgrade to the Le Max 2 or the long talked about LeEco Dual3 with Dual Cameras. It could also be one of the Le Max or the other Le series smartphones.
Sporting a 5.7-inch IPS display with 2560 x 1440 pixels (Quad HD) screen resolution and a pixel density of 515 ppi; the LeEco LEX850 relies on a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 (MSM8996 Pro) 64-bit processor clocked at 2.342GHz with Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage space.
For photography, it features a front facing 16MP selfie camera alongside a dual rear camera setup – either a combination of 13MP + 8MP or Dual 13MP cameras, with dual-tone LED flash. Just below the main camera sits the fingerprint sensor (Ultrasonic) and an IR sensor is also on-board.
The LeEco LEX850 uses the USB Type-C port, boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS (possibly laced with the company’s EUI 5.8), supports 4G VoLTE and packs a sizeable 3900mAh battery. It weighs in at 168 grams, measures 157.25 x 77.95 x 7.99 mm in dimensions and will arrive in Coffee Gray or Gold colour options.
