Alongside B & O’s Beoplay M5 Wireless speaker, Lemon California Roll was one of the exciting audio products on display at the CES 2017. This versatile wireless Bluetooth speaker from US based manufacturer – Lemon technology, is waterproof (IPX7-certified), shockproof, temperature proof and solar powered.
The Lemon California Roll has 6 internal speakers and can play up to 20 hours of music when charged for about 7 hours with sunlight. It is very versatile and could be used in a number of scenarios and conditions – at home, on a hiking trip, camping in the mountains or at the poolside.
Like the Beoplay M5, the speaker works in a multi-room set up at home (up to three phones connected at once) and can be plugged into the wall at home, for continuous usage. Two speakers can be paired to deliver twice the sound capacity and they can be connected via NFC, Bluetooth or AUX connections.
The speaker offers full voice recognition and can also serve as a source for charging other electronic devices. California Roll is on pre-order from the company’s website for a price tag of US$ 249 (AU$ 329.98). Black, Blue, Red, Silver and White colours with either metal or cloth grills are the available options.
