Lenovo A5100 specs unveiled by TENAA

Lenovo is preparing a new smartphone from the company’s A series of smartphones. The Lenovo A5100 as the device is known has been spotted on TENAA, the Chinese equivalent of the FCC in the US. The A5100 is listed to be headed for Chinese telecoms company – China Unicom and it comes with networks bands compatible to it.

Moving to the Lenovo A5100 specs, it disappointedly the device still run Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS and it sports a phablet sized 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with pixel resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. There are also visible capacitive buttons below the screen too. 

Under the hood, it is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal expandable storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB). On the rear, there is a 8MP camera with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera for selfies, video chats. 

The Lenovo A5100 weighs 160 grams, measures 151.0 × 77.0 × 8.9mm in dimensions and supports 4G LTE. There is no word on the pricing and availability information for now but it would be available in Black, Silver and White.
