The Lenovo A6000 is not an entirely new smartphone, however the device is just reaching the shores of Africa, starting off with Nigeria. The smartphone was unveiled earlier this year at the CES 2015 in January.

Brushing over the specs, the Lenovo A6000 is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked 1.2GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. On the rear, there is a 8MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera.
The rest of the A6000 specs includes – a microSD crd slot, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G LTE, Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS with Vibe 2.0 UI ontop, 5-inch HD display, GPS, Dual SIM functionality and is backed by a 2300mAh battery.
The Lenovo A6000 already has a successor, the Lenovo A6000 Plus which comes with some slight improvement in specs. The A6000 Plus comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of RAM; asides that the specs are basically the same.
