Lenovo (and Motorola) have been actively releasing new smartphones this year. The Lenovo A6600 is the latest from the brand and although, there is no official communication yet, it is headed for the Indian market for a MRP of Rs. 6,999 ($105) while the MOP is Rs. 6,600 ($99).
The new Lenovo A6600 sports a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display and is said to boot a near stock version of Android OS (Marshmallow). On the inside, it is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.0GHz (MediaTek MT6735P) with just 1GB of RAM.
The Dual SIM enabled smartphone has 16GB built-in storage space, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), 8MP Rear Camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP camera for handling both selfies and video chats. The A6600 also supports 4G with VoLTE and is backed by a 2300mAh battery.
The Lenovo Z2 Plus is another device expected to go official soon. It is tipped as the Indian version of the ZUK Z2 which launched months ago in China for CNY 1799. It packs a 5-inch FH display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB of RAM, 13MP + 8MP front and rear cameras, 4G VoLTE and a 3500mAh battery.
