Lenovo has announced a new smartphone in India – the Lenovo A7000 Turbo 4G smartphone. The 5.5-inch sized device is a reminder of the K3 Note which is already selling in the country. It is available from Lenovo’s official store for a price tag of Rs 10,999 (Rs 1000 more than the Lenovo K3 Note sells for).
Measuring 152.6 x 76 x 7.99 mm in dimensions and weighing 150 grams in size, the Lenovo A7000 Turbo sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) FHD OGS IPS display with 178-degrees wide viewing angle, pixel density of 401ppi and 72% screen-to-body ratio. It has a single speaker and Dolby Atmos Sound for immerssive audio experience.
Under the hood, the A7000 Turbo is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Mediatek MT6752 processor clocked at 1.7GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. The device has Dual SIM slots (4G LTE + 4G LTE) with Dual Standby and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB.
In the camera segment, there is a front facing 5MP f/2.2 camera with OmniVision OV5670 and 3-element lens for selfies and video chats; and a rear facing 13MP f/2.0 camera with OmniVision OV13850 with 5-elements lens. Connectivity options includes – Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, micro USB, GPS/A-GPS 4G LTE/3G HSPA+.
The Lenovo A7000 Turbo runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Vibe UI 2.0 and is backed by a 2900mAh Li-ion battery. Matte Black is the available colour option.
