To compete with Xiaomi’s new Macbook Air inspired laptop – the Mi Notebook Air; Lenovo China has joined the race of competitors going after Apple”s offering by announcing a similar design inspired and Air branded Windows 10 device headed for the China market only – the Lenovo Air 13 Pro.
The Lenovo Air 13 Pro is very similar to the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air in terms off the key specs and pricing but the sizes of the RAM are understandably different. It packs a 13.3-inch IPS display has a Full HD screen resolution and a dedicated graphics chip (Nvidia’s GeForce GTX940MX graphics chip).
The rest of the specs includes – a Quad-core Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor, 4GB of RAM, 256GB/512GB of SSD storage, Fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C Port, 2 x USB 3.0, memory card reader, headphone jack and Windows 10 OS. It measures 14.8 mm thick and weighs 1.29kg compared to the Macbook Air whhich measures 17mm thick and weighs 1.35kg.
The Lenovo Air 13 Pro is available to pre-order via the Official Lenovo website (China) for a price tag starting at CNY 4999 ($750) but could go as high as CNY 5499 ($829) once they hit the shelves across the country. Global availability and pricing information are not detailed yet.
