Lenovo announce Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 8″ and Yoga Tab 3 10″ entertainment tablets

Along with the Yoga Tab 3 Pro, Lenovo announced the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 tablets – the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 8″ and Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 10″. Both slates will arrive in the market starting October 2015 and would be sold by Lenovo retail partners.

Starting with the design, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 has the accustomed folding stand that allows it to used in different forms. It is available in two screen sizes – the 8-inch and 10-inch models with a display resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. 

Both models are powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor paired with 1GB RAM, 16GB space of internal storage and front facing stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos sound. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. 

There is a rotating 8MP camera long the edge which acts as the front and back camera and there are some camera related gestures are also thrown in.

The 8-inch model is backed by a 6200mAh battery and the 10-inch model is backed by a 8700mAh battery but both models runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the company’s UI ontop. 

Opting to exclude a Stylus pen, Lenovo has added it’s AnyPen technology to make writing on the tablet by any pointed device (pen, pencil, etc).

The Wi-Fi only version of the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 8″ costs $169 and the LTE version costs $199 while the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 10″ costs $199 for the Wi-Fi version and $249 for the LTE version.
