Lenovo has introduced a new Yoga convertible notebook, the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro is powered by an Intel Core M broadwell processor and can bend over backwards to be used like a tablet. The Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro is thinner, lighter and stronger than its predecessors.
The two-in-one (tablet + notebook) features a QHD+ touchscreen display offering a resolution of 3,200 x 1,800 pixels. The Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro is powered by an Intel Core M-70 processor with Intel HD graphics 5300, has a 512GB SSD, 8GB of memory, and an integrated 720p HD front camera.
Other features includes – two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 ports, Four-in-One Card Reader (SD, MMC, SDXC, SDHC), Bluetooth 4.01, Micro HDMI output, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and 4 speakers. With the Yoga 3 Pro, Lenovo is introducing a new software suite called Harmony. Harmony basically automatically recommends apps according to the mode the laptop-tablet is being used.
The Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro weighs 1.19kg, measures 12.7mm in thickness, runs on Windows 8.1 64 bit and has a battery life of 9 hours.
The device is currently on sale in the U.S for a starting price of $1,349, in the Europe for €1,299 in varying colour options of Clementine Orange, Platinum Silver, and Champagne Gold. Pricing and availability details in other regions has not been made available.
